Finding Product Market Fit - Enjoy The Process
'Enjoy the process' is a phrase I've often heard from motivational speakers, coaches, and teachers alike. However, its true significance only became clear to me recently...As founders, we are all building something that we’ve hypothesized humanity NEEDS. However, the true testament is achieving ‘product-market-fit’.
Finding product-market fit not only validates our hypothesis but also infuses us with a new breath of fresh air, perhaps a new round of funding, freedom, and the crucial momentum needed to scale. It’s important to appreciate every aspect of the journey as your startup is flirting with product-market-fit: the highs, the lows, optimizations, making friends, hacking together new technology, breaking things, team building, forging genuine connections with clients—all while striving to create solutions that make a meaningful difference.
The key to finding PMF is continual improvements, or ‘Kaizen’ as the Japanee say, to build confidence and create snowballing momentum. If you wholeheartedly believe in your product/service/SaaS, don't just 'enjoy the process'—be sure to 'trust the process' as well. The light at the end of the tunnel may be closer than it appears.
We Understand how to find Product-Market-Fit
We've helped many fledgling pre-revenue seed stage startups do just this:
- Helped pre-revenue FinTech reposition offer and acquire it's first 100 B2B customers
- Helped pre-revenue web3 gaming startup acquire first couple hundred users
- Helped B2B marketplace acquire first 150 B2B customers on supply side & thousands on demand side
- Helped DTC e-commerce company grow from inception of idea through acquisition
- Helped tech startup reposition offer & generate $100mm+ in pipeline
- Helped luxury marketplace earn first $1mm
- Helped private equity backed startup bundle solutions & go-to-market.
...and many more exhilarating journeys we'll be publishing in a book in due course :)
